Based upon our internally developed native card operating system, the low-end, cost-effective Bantry Technologies’ Deimos range of products is fully compliant with the ETSI GSM standards. Bantry Technologies proposes the following products:

Bantry Technologies' expertise in the telecom space is used to complement Trusted Logic's jTOP™ Java Card™ solution, which has become over years, one of the most recognised Java implementation for smart cards in various market segments, such as identity, banking, e-passport, etc. Bantry Technologies has developed in an innovative and flexible manner a Java Card™ SIM Toolkit applet that can be loaded onto the telecom-enabled Trusted Logic's Java Card™ Virtual Machine to turn it into a Java Card SIM operating system.
This unique cooperation enabled the two companies to offer the ideal complementary expertise in Java Card™ and telecom arenas. The modular approach chosen by Bantry Technologies augmented by the secure solution delivered by Trusted Logic gave bith to the joint products maXim and maXim Manager for a flexible, secure and fully interoperable high-end Java Card™ SIM operating system. In order to respond to the mobile network operators growing demand for interoperability and large memory size, Bantry Technologies and Trusted Logic are offering a solution compliant with:

As a logical extension to the maXim solution, Bantry Technologies and Trusted Logic also provide the 3G version of the maXim product.

An overview of the products availability is provided in the next table.
| maXim | SIM | USIM |
| 32k | Available | On Demand |
| 64k | Available (WIB 1.3 / S@T) | July 2006 |
| 128k | June 2006 (S@T) | July 2006 |

Even though the Java Card™ has gained credibility over the last few years and can be considered as the winning technology for interoperable cards, some mobile network operators do not need or do not want to deploy Java Card™ massively. On the contrary, they would much prefer continue deploying in majority native SIM cards and reserve only a percentage of the total number of cards using the Java technology for testing it and analysing the benefits. Bantry Technologies wishes to respond to this business case by offering a joint offer – native and Java-based SIM cards – to its customers. Needless to say that the Deimos and maXim card operating systems can be personalised with the exact same set of commands to simplify card management issues for mobile network operators and smart card manufacturers that would like to get a mix of both products to cover their market requirements.
