Presentation Title: XHTML Promises
Subject: The 1.x version for WAP was not a commercial success. Many factors can explain why this much awaited mobile technology never took off. The WAP Forum along with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) have looked into these factors and have proposed in the 2.0 version for WAP a radically different approach. Bantry will explain why WAP 1.x did not work out as expected and how WAP 2.0 will answer the previous issues. Bantry will also explain how Nokia is actively participating in the advent of WAP 2.0.
Background: Bantry has been selected by Nokia Forum for providing a WAP 2.0 and XHTML training to Nokia’s partners.
