The SIMalliance S@T solution is the only wholly standardised micro-browsing solution enabling wireless access to dynamic Internet-based content. Bantry Technologies has always been very close to various workgroups of the SIMalliance consortium. In particular, Bantry Technologies is involved for many years with SIM card manufacturers, mobile network operators and value added services suppliers in achieving Java SIM interoperability. Based on the experienced accumulated over the years, the company is now in the position to offer a complete interoperable S@T solution for SIM card operating system and associated S@T Manager tool.

The coupled solution - card and tool - offers the ideal solution for you to offer quickly a wide variety of services such as information on demand, mobile commerce, electronic payment, location-based services, games.

The solution has already been tested on all S@T gateways available in the market and consequently fully adheres to the latest SIMalliance S@T standards and live deployments. It guarantees your interoperability and flexibility in deploying a service as a secondary S@T card suppliers.

The SIMalliance toolbox specifications or S@T is a global standard pushed by the main smart card manufacturers worldwide for accessing Internet content on Phase 2+ handsets. The S@T browser is currently used by many operators. Bantry Technologies is now offering the latest version of the S@T embedded into both the Deimos native and maXim Java Card SIM operating systems. It is compliant with:

• S@T session protocol session version: S@T 01.20 v2.0.0 (Release 2004)
• S@T administrative commands version: S@T 01.21 v2.0.0 (Release 2004)

• S@T browser behaviour guideline version: S@T 01.50 v2.0.0 (Release 2004)
• S@T operational commands version: S@T 01.22 v2.0.0 (Release 2004)

To complement the S@T on-card solution, Bantry Technologies has developed an extensive but yet simple administrative tool, called the S@T Manager, which will enable any user to easily work out S@T scenarios and prepare the S@T card to be ready for deployment.
