As part of the development tool offering, Bantry Technologies is now delivering a S@T tool, which will respond to S@T services development enthusiasts needs. With the help of this tool, developers and testers will be able to write, save and load S@TML (S@T Markup Language) content according to the SIM alliance S@T 01.10 V2.0.0 (Release 2004) specifications and also translate S@TML content into S@T Byte Code (SBC), which can be loaded onto a SIM S@T micro-browser and displayed on mobile phones.

Bantry Technologies’ interoperable applet loader main functionalities include the scanning of any SIM Toolkit Phase 2+ card. The scanning features retrieves from the card the AIDs of the packages and applets loaded onto the card. It also allows the user to load and delete specific applets using various parameters (CAP files to be loaded or deleted, AIDs to be used, GSM parameters, security parameters and memory configuration parameters). Bantry Technologies’ file manager offers the developers and testers to pro-actively scan a SIM or USIM file system. It does not perform an automatic scan of the file system, which is most of the time not necessary and lengthy but allow user to verify based on a default GSM file system to verify if a file is really present of the SIM card or not. Before the verification is done, the file identifier appears in italic. The font is changed to normal is the file is really present after verification. It also enables users to create their own plug-ins in order to manage their own set of administrative commands (such as Verify Key, Create File, etc.). This functionality is important, as, in some cases, some commands are proprietary. Read, rename or update the content of a card, define access conditions with the use of keys, load specific personalisation automatically.
