First of all, it is important to underline that Bantry Technologies does not provide physical security check or smart card vulnerability from a coding point of view. We dedicate of code review towards optimisation and interoperability. Optimisation is a key element of any embedded development and it is particularly crucial in the context of a smart card in which every byte counts. With years of practice and applet qualification, Bantry Technologies can review your code in confidentiality in order to save precious memory space. Interoperability is the element of success of any applet. Today, it is not conceivable to write a Java applet running correctly on one card and not on a card coming from another supplier. Consequently, in line with the SIMalliance Stepping Stones recommendation as well as our own know-how, we will make sure that your applets work seamlessly on any Java Card™. The last work consists in working out a source code respecting the best programming practices.

In some cases, despite any legal documents in place, some source codes cannot be provided to us. We fully respect this policy. It does not interfere with the interoperability testing that Bantry Technologies can provide. Based upon the reception of your SIM applet CAP file, we can test the applet on a selected number of USIM cards and validate whether or not it is interoperable. In the latter case, we will revert to you with an extensive test report and some hints to improve the quality of the code to reach full interoperability.
